More Pictures

Alright, I'm still getting the hang of posting pictures on here. In the mean time, here are two more pictures of Nolan. I'll post more when I get the hang of it. If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears!

Nolan and the family

I should have posted this one earlier. This is Nolan (and family!) right as he was born. He had to come out via C-section. This has been hard because his mom hasn't been as mobile because of the C-section. So, I've had to step up and take over many of the chores around the house.

In other news, the little guy basically just slept all day. He's awake now, but it's frustrating as a dad because when he's awake he only wants to eat... which is totally a mommy chore right now.

Diaper Changes

Alright this is a big frustration for me. So far I haven't been too good at changing diapers. I've had to have my wife step in and help me almost every time. She says it's because I'm too impatient. Nolan will start crying as soon as a diaper change starts. Most of the time he is very quiet, and having all this crying happening makes me want to just get it over with. Unfortunately, this leads to the diaper change not going very well. I guess the lesson here is lots of patience. However, if anyone has any advice I would love to hear some comments!

Welcome to the world!

On January 27th my wife gave birth to our baby - Nolan. This blog is about dealing with a new baby from a dad's perspective. I've seen quite of few of these from the female perspective, and I thought it would be good to put the dad's perspective out there for a change. Hopefully everyone who comes across this will enjoy it!
